Allergies should not mean a boring breakfast. This Formula 1 swaps soy for pea protein, and wraps it in raspberry and white chocolate flavour.

About

Made with semi-skimmed milk, a serving gives 19 g of protein and 25 vitamins and minerals for 215 kcal. It is soy free and gluten free made with cow's milk, or lactose free and gluten free made with fortified soy drink.

One catch, stated plainly: Herbalife says it is no longer a meal replacement when made with other plant drinks such as oat or almond. Compare every flavour in Formula 1 meal shakes.

How to use

  1. Settle. Give the tub a gentle shake, because powder settles in transit.
  2. Measure. Add two level scoops (26 g) to 250 ml of cold semi-skimmed milk.
  3. Mix. Blend with three or four ice cubes, or shake hard in a shaker.

Lactose-free kitchen? Swap the milk for 250 ml of fortified soy drink.
