Lemon is the flavour that turns a jug of cold water into something you actually want to drink. It is Herbalife's instant tea with a citrus edge, sweetened with stevia.
About
The base is the same as Original: green tea extract, orange pekoe black tea, hibiscus and cardamom. Citric acid and natural flavouring bring the lemon, and steviol glycosides take the sharpness off. Prefer Original, Raspberry or Peach? Use the selector.
Each serving contains 87.5 mg of caffeine. Caffeine helps to increase alertness and improve concentration. There is no authorised claim that this tea boosts metabolism, and we will not pretend otherwise.
How to use
- Shake the tub. A gentle shake mixes any settled powder.
- Measure small. Stir half a teaspoon (1.7 g) into 200 to 240 ml of hot or cold water.
- Stop at two. Herbalife recommends one or two glasses a day.
For a jug of iced tea, add 2.5 teaspoons to a litre of water with orange slices and ice. Lemon is the best of the range iced. Store with the lid closed.
Keep total caffeine from all sources under 400 mg a day, or 200 mg if pregnant or breastfeeding, and no more than 200 mg in one go. Two cups of this tea come to 175 mg before your coffee.

Frequently asked questions
Is Lemon sweetened with sugar?
No added sugar. It uses steviol glycosides from the stevia leaf, and each serving has 0.1 g of naturally occurring sugar.
Hot or cold?
Both work. Most people find the lemon brighter over ice, and gentler as a hot mug in winter.
Is there any authorised claim about weight or metabolism?
No. The only claim this tea can carry comes from its caffeine: increased alertness and improved concentration.
Can children drink it?
It contains 87.5 mg of caffeine per serving, so it is not a drink for children.
How many cups are in a tub?
Thirty servings at half a teaspoon each. Heavier scoops shorten that fast, so level the spoon.
