For after the heavy lifting, literally. Rebuild Strength is a chocolate recovery shake with 25 g of protein, carbohydrates and added BCAAs and glutamine.
About
The protein comes from milk protein concentrate, whey concentrate and whey isolate, with fructose and sucrose for carbohydrate and fat-reduced cocoa for the flavour. L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine and L-glutamine are added.
Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass. Iron contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, and normal oxygen transport in the body.
It is Informed Sport certified, with batches screened for banned substances. It is built for strength sessions, not as an everyday milkshake.
How to use

Frequently asked questions
Why does a recovery drink contain sugar?
Carbohydrates are part of refuelling after hard training. On rest days, a lower-sugar protein option may suit you better.
Can I mix it with milk?
The label directs water. Milk adds calories and protein beyond the figures shown.
Is five scoops a lot?
It is a 50 g serving, which delivers the 25 g protein figure. Fewer scoops means less of everything.
Is it suitable for someone lactose intolerant?
It is milk-based, so probably not. Speak to a dietitian if you are unsure.
Does it work for endurance training too?
It is formulated for strength and other anaerobic work. Endurance athletes may prefer a different recovery product.
